Brian's Fish Farm

                                                                    Anglers: Iskandar, Ken, Steven & Me.
                                                     Date: 29th January 2007 (Mon) 0800hrs.
                     Location embarked: Loyang Temple on Ahmad's Sampan (that could only carry the 4 of us)
                                      Brian couldn't join us nevertheless here's how his Fish Farm looks l

                My Fenwick GS 60MH-2, 6'0", 8-17 lb. Line Rod and Shimano AERNOS XT C3000 Spool at work.
                

                                     My catch of the Cao Xi, in Bahasa: Tudung Periuk aka Spotted Sicklefish ........
                               My wife had to cut it in 2 to steam it and trust me ...... its Great Taste!
                                    

                                               Then came Ken's line ...... the Ang Zho aka John's Snapper.
                                    

                                                       And the harvest of the day ......
               25 Catfish, 1 Russel's Snapper, 1 Spotted Sickle, 1 Toadfish, 3 Lattice Monocle Bream & 1 crab.
                                               

                                                  And we left the fish farm at about 9pm .....
                

                        6th March 2007 @ The Fish Farm again

Iskandar was invited to appear in one of Anthony Bourdain's Fish & Cook Episode on Discovery Channel and thus Anthony Bourdain and all his nine crew went over to the fish farm on the 5th Mar 2007 for the shoot. The crew, on that same nite, even visited Bar None @ The Marriot to filmed Iskandar's professional career as a Bass Guitarist of Singapore's Number 1 Band - Energy. What a privilege!

  So having left all his (Iskandar's) barang barang at the fish farm the day before, we decided we might as well pop-by and fish the day.

Just Iskandar, Kevin & Me, we headed for the fish farm at about 2:30pm.
The weather was on our side. Cooling & breezy with no rain.

                                                         Just an hour into the day, the action began!
                                              

                                              Iskandar had to leave by 6pm leaving only Kevin & me to fish.
                                                                     And we fished till 10:30pm.
                                              

                                                                          The hauled of day :
                               13 Duris, 1 Belanger's Croaker aka Gelama, 1 Javelin Grunter (Jio Lor) & 1 Stingray.
