We embarked on
James's boat at Pier 3 Punggol Marina at 8:00am.
Did what we had to do .... Chill Out!
Approximately 1 hour into the day, came the first action from
Kevin.
Everyone estimated this Orange-spotted Grouper to be
around 4kg.
Watch how it all started on YouTube
Then my rod shriek, and up comes the second action of the day -
Longhead Grunt aka Gu Hood in Hokkien.
After that is Ken's turn to land this 2 species - Chocolate
Hind, Indian Grouper
aka
Orh Gau Gu and
Diamond
Trevally aka Jio Beng (Chermin).
We all had great fun!
And when we landed onshore back at
Punggol Marina, we headed straight to the eatery near by and
guess what?
The Grouper was our dinner.
A Big Shout Out to Kevin O'Hara for being so gracious
with his catch.
(He insisted his name be spelled with the capital O with an
apostrophe and the capital H)
